Community Service Hours

Students are required to earn 40 community service hours as part of their Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Many students leave this until the last minute and struggle to get them in on time. There are many volunteer opportunities at the school and in your community. 

Tips for completing your community service hours
  • Make a plan for your hours. You should get 10 each year.
  • Look and listen for volunteer opportunities.
  • Get the tracking form signed upon completion of community service.
  • Hand it in right away!
  • Use holiday time to complete your hours.
  • Don't leave them until the last minute!
