St. Paul students help the OPL plan for the future

The Ottawa Public Library (OPL) is now planning for what the public library will be like in 10 years. They were very interested in speaking to youth to gather ideas from them. They did a series of one on one interviews to get to know the students' interests and, in a way, St. Paul students have become architects of the future. After the experience here is what the OPL staff had to say about our wonderful students:

I want to start by saying that yesterday was such a fulfilling day. The entire team found it to be very rewarding and inspiring, with many (who do not have direct contact with teens on a regular basis) stating that they have a new perspective on teens and their role in society. They all felt that the participants defied the existing stereotypes of youth.
